My good friend Shadi owns his own garage where he customizes and restores old American muscle. I’ve known him since high school and although we arent always the closest of friends, I can connect with him on a deeper level with out shared love of cars. He has always been a Mopar guy and I’ve always gave him shit for it being a Chevy guy myself. I got a call from him not too long ago and I know when his name pops up on my phone he has bought something pretty fun. Long story short he bought a C10 shell and planned on dropping a LS3 in it, right up my ally. I told him once he was done with it I need to shoot it. Once it was all done I headed to his shop we rolled it out and I got to work immediately. While I was there he told me the next day he was picking up an all gold 70s Trans Am. I looked at him and said well I guess I am coming back tomorrow too. Its always great catching up after not seeing each other for a couple months and just talking shop. I always look forward to the next car he is going to buy, restore or completely build from the ground up. Once he does I will be back there shooting it once its done.
